Mario Mandzukic from Juventus is now also associated with Borussia Dortmund by Gazzetta dello Sport. The Croatian striker has been traded repeatedly with BVB in recent weeks, but a real development did not seem to be taking place.
Now the Dortmunders are supposed to “push” for the Mandzukic transfer, as it is called from Italy. The 33-year-old, who lost a great advocate with the change of coach from Massimiliano Allegri to Maurizio Sarri, would probably have to pay around 15 million euros to replace him.
However, the transfer could be made more difficult by a similar interest on the part of FC Bayern Munich. This is what Sport Bild reports. The record champion is said to have discussed Mandzukic’s return internally. Mandzukic already played in Munich from 2012 to 2014, after which he moved to Atletico and later to Juventus.
