The change from Juve star Paulo Dybala to the Champions League finalist Tottenham Hotspur has burst according to information from Goal and SOCCERSCORE. The Spurs had already reached an agreement with the old lady on a transfer of around 70 million euros and were also prepared to meet the Argentinian’s high salary demands. Nevertheless, no agreement was reached.
During the talks between the North Londoners, Juventus and the attacker’s advisor, it became clear that Dybala’s salary, in combination with the expensive image rights that Tottenham would have to acquire for the transfer, could not be borne by the English.
The 25-year-old is currently on the verge of leaving Juventus and, according to information from Goal and SOCCERSCORE, had previously agreed to move to the Premier League. After the failure of the Tottenham deal, it now remains to be seen for whom Dybala will run up in the future.
A recent deal with Manchester United was a failure. The left foot should change there in exchange for Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian is currently in Milan, where he wants to sign a contract with Juves Serie A competitor Inter.
A change to the Premier League now seems rather unlikely for Dybala. The English transfer window closes already on Thursday evening at 18 o’clock (CET) and the offensive man does not stand at present in discussions with further PL-teams.
Meanwhile, Juventus takes a critical view of a possible transfer within Series A.
