Primera Division: Zidane mourns the death of his brother

Spanish record holders Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane mourns the loss of his brother Farid. The club announced on Saturday that he died at the age of 54.

Zidane had already left Reals training camp in Montreal, Canada, on Friday “for personal reasons”. On Saturday, the professionals of the royals observed a minute’s silence before the training.

Co-trainer David Bettoni is currently leading the units. Real will play Bayern Munich in Houston on 21 July as part of the International Champions Cup. Whether the Frenchman Zidane will sit on the bench again remains to be seen.
