Primera Division: Will a 33-year-old replace Griezmann?

Spain’s runners-up Atletico Madrid are apparently looking at a recall from striker Radamel Falcao, who will leave AS Monaco at the end of the season according to a report by L’Equipe. Atletico’s LaLiga rival FC Valencia are also said to be interested in the striker’s services.

The 33-year-old has already played for the Colchoneros from 2011 to 2013, winning the Europa League, Copa del Rey and the UEFA Super Cup with the club. His contract in Monaco runs until 2020.

Atletico is looking for a replacement for superstar Antoine Griezmann, who will definitely leave the club this summer.

Finally, the involvement of striker Edinson Cavani (Paris Saint-Germain) in Atleti was not ruled out.
