Barca fans hoot team after home victory

Lionel Messi has saved FC Barcelona from another setback. The superstar shot the favourites 1-0 (0-0) against Real Sociedad San Sebastián, turning a handball (81st) into the winning goal.

However, Barca fans were disappointed and acknowledged the Catalans’ performance with a whistle. “We have not lost our confidence. But the fans don’t necessarily look at the strength of the opponent,” Barca coach Quique Setien reacted.

At least Messi could be relied on, having made his 19th appearance in La Liga this season and, most recently, five times in the last three games in the Primera División. The supporters have apparently not forgiven their 2-0 defeat at the Clásico with record champions Real Madrid a week ago.
