Reds Star commemorates deceased Reyes

The tragic death of former Spanish international Jose Antonio Reyes was still an issue after the Champions League final. His former teammate Alberto Moreno, who won the title with Liverpool FC, remembered his friend as he cheered.

After the final whistle, Moreno wore a T-shirt with the inscription “te quiero hermano” (I love you, brother) and a picture of Reyes and him from their time together at FC Sevilla.

From 2012 to 2014, both Spaniards played together for the Andalusians, playing together in 34 games.

Reyes was killed in a traffic accident Saturday morning. Before the Champions League final between Liverpool and Tottenham, both teams therefore held a minute’s silence.

In the 2-0 victory of the Reds, Moreno was not used.
