No spectators at Wolfsburg vs. Donetsk

VfL Wolfsburg’s Europa League match against Schachtjor Donezk will be played without spectators due to the effects of the corona virus. This was confirmed by the Bundesliga soccer team to the “Deutsche Presse-Agentur”.

The “Wolfsburger Nachrichten” had previously reported on this. The first leg of the round of sixteen will be kicked off at 21:00. It had already been decided at noon that, among other things, the home league game of Bundesliga rival Werder Bremen against Bayer Leverkusen on Monday may only take place in front of empty stands.

Health Minister Jens Spahn had recently called again for the cancellation of major events with more than 1000 visitors.
