Champions League: Neymar's CL suspension remains in place

Neymar can’t get out of the negative headlines. Aside from the affair of alleged rape, UEFA confirmed the suspension of the French champion Paris St Germain’s striker on Wednesday.

The 27-year-old will have to watch the next three Champions League games. PSG’s objection was rejected.

The reason for the ban is a referee’s affront. Neymar, who was injured at the time, had blamed the failure on a team of referees headed by Damir Skomina of Slovenia in an Instagram post after the Parisians were eliminated from the royal league’s eighth-finals against the English record holders Manchester United.
