Inter has to give up Sánchez in the semi-final Waldschmidt shortly before moving to Benfica

Italian first-team footballer Inter Milan has to give up Chilean Alexis Sánchez in the semi-finals of the Europa League. The 31-year-old forward suffered a strain in the right thigh in the quarter-final against Bayer Leverkusen (2:1). He is therefore unavailable in a duel with Schachtar Donezk on Monday (21:00) in Düsseldorf to enter the final.

Sánchez, who had only recently extended his contract with the Milanese until 2023, suffered the injury in the second half of the game against Leverkusen. Nevertheless, he stood on the pitch until the final whistle.
