Bundesliga: Werder head of sports rules out Kruse return

Werder Bremen’s head of sports Frank Baumann cannot imagine a return of former national player Max Kruse to the Bundesliga Eighth.

“I’d rule that out, the decision has been made,” said the 43-year-old to the Bild newspaper. There won’t be a new offer.

The Hanseatic League had not been able to reach an agreement with Kruse on an extension of the contract which expired at the end of the month. So far, the 31-year-old has not found a new employer.
