Corini fired: Balotelli gets new coach
Serie A promoted Brescia Calcio has separated from his coach Eugenio Corini. The decision was announced by the club after a 2-1 draw with Hellas Verona on Sunday. The 49-year-old coach had taken over the north of Italy in September 2018 in Serie B and led them back to the premier league after eight years. The Lombards are in 18th place after the eleventh matchday of Serie A and thus in third last place, but still have a catch-up game to play. Brescia have only scored one point from the last six games.
Celta Vigo separates from coach Escriba
Celta Vigo has separated from coach Fran Escriba. Vigo are third last in La Liga after twelve games and nine points after twelve. They have recently lost four games in a row. 54-year-old Escriba took over Celta in March. The club has not yet announced a succession plan.
Kovac is no longer Bayern coach
FC Bayern saw “need for action” (Karl-Heinz Rummenigge) and parted company with coach Niko Kovac on Sunday evening. Hansi Flick, previously assistant coach in Munich, will be in charge of the team “until further notice”.
Six home games, no victory: 96 separates from coach Slomka
Mirko Slomka is no longer coach of Hannover 96, “Unfortunately we didn’t manage to push the development of the team as we wished”, sports director Jan Schlaudraff explained the separation. After twelve match days, the Hanoverians are in the lower half of the table with only three wins. “In particular, six home games without a single victory are simply not enough,” Schlaudraff stressed.

Debutant Tempelmann extended in Breisgau
SC Freiburg has extended its contract with Talent Lino Tempelmann. The Breisgauer announced this on Thursday, as usual without naming a term for the new contract. The 20-year central midfielder came 2017 from 1860 Munich and made his Bundesliga debut last weekend in his home match against RB Leipzig (2:1). However, he was already changed after 34 minutes for tactical reasons. Tempelmann played five games for the SCF regional league team this season.

Advocaat takes over at Feyenoord
Former Gladbach coach Dick Advocaat will be the new coach of Feyenoord Rotterdam. This was announced by the club on Wednesday. The 72-year-old, who worked for Borussia for a good six months in the 2004/05 season, signed a contract until the end of the current season. On Monday, the previous coach Jaap Stam resigned after only eleven match days. The day before, the Rotterdam side had lost 4-0 to arch-rival Ajax Amsterdam.
FCA terminates contract with Caiuby
FC Augsburg has terminated the contract with offensive player Caiuby by mutual agreement, the Fuggerstadt team announced on Wednesday evening. The Brazilian had already been on loan to Grasshoppers Zurich in the second half of last season. Prior to that, the 31-year-old had played 113 matches for FCA between 2014 and 2018 (13 goals).
