Serious muscle injury: Dembelé will probably be eliminated by the end of the season

Ousmane Dembelé from FC Barcelona is facing a forced break of several weeks. The injury the Frenchman suffered in training on Monday turned out to be a serious thigh injury. The 22-year-old had not played a match since the end of November.

As FC Barcelona tweeted on Tuesday afternoon, Dembelé suffered a complete muscle tear in his right thigh on Monday. While the Blue Grana does not quantify any downtime, the Marca writes that the player will have to take a break for several months and probably even suspend the rest of the season.
