International: Sandro Wagner ends goal curse in China

Sandro Wagner (31) has finished his scoring curse in China’s Super League (CSL) and with a double-pack brought Tianjin Teda’s 2-1 (1-0) victory over Shandong Luneng to an end.

The former Hoffenheimer and Munich player was successful in the 15th and 67th for the team of coach Ulli Stielike. Tianjin Teda came sixth in the table with 19 points.

Wagner changed last January from Bayern Munich to the Super League CSL. In the twelfth game for his new club Wagner scored the first two goals.

In the 88th minute, Doppelpacker Wagner was replaced. On Shandong’s side, the Belgian Marouane Fellaini (formerly Manchester United) saw the red card (79.). With the hosts Tan Wangson also flew from the place (71.).
