Bundesliga: RB rejected 60 million offer for Upamecano

Bundesliga club RB Leipzig has allegedly rejected an offer by Premier League club FC Arsenal for central defender Dayot Upamecano. That’s what the picture says.

According to the report, the Gunners, who are looking for reinforcements for last season’s weakening defensive, offered 60 million euros for the 20-year-old Frenchman. Leipzig wants to keep Upamecano, who is still under contract with the Champions League participant until 2021, but under all circumstances, as he is set as a fixed figure in the 3-5-2 system of new coach Julian Nagelsmann.

Arsenal, who could even lose a defender this summer with Laurent Koscielny, are apparently looking for alternatives. One of them, according to Sportitalia reporter Alfredo Pedulla, is 25-year-old Daniele Rugani of Juventus Turin.

Its advisor and also Juve sport director Fabio Paratici are to be up-to-date to discussions in London. Which club they negotiate with there is unclear, but there is interest from Arsenal and Wolverhampton.
