Bundesliga: Pick up harmony? Consultant comments

Andre Schürrles advisor Ingo Haspel has denied media reports that the offensive player from Borussia Dortmund is about to change to Eintracht Frankfurt.

“There are no conversations with Eintracht Frankfurt,” Haspel told the kicker. The Ruhr Nachrichten had previously announced that Schürrle had been at Eintracht’s training ground on Tuesday and had possibly already completed the medical check with the Hessians.

“Andre trained today in Berlin, he was certainly not in Frankfurt,” emphasized Haspel. The 28-year-old has no future at BVB, despite his contract until 2021, so he did not travel to the USA with Lucien Favre’s team on Monday.

According to kicker, Schürrle is said to have had “loose inquiries”, but there are currently no concrete negotiations. The 2014 World Champion had already been awarded to FC Fulham by Dortmund last season, but retired from the Premier League with the English.

In 2016, Schürrle switched from VfL Wolfsburg to the current vice champion for 30 million euros. The picture had recently reported that BVB was now prepared to sell Schürrle for a fee of eight million euros.
