No Kryptonite for Liverpool: Alisson’s brainstorm seals the next coup

Liverpool continue to pull away in the Premier League – the 2-0 win over arch-rivals and fearsome Manchester United was the next masterpiece. But it was not possible without trembling.

Jürgen Klopp had no worse record as coach against any opponent, Liverpool having won only one of their last eleven Premier League duels with Manchester United, leaving them with points only in the first leg (1-1) this season. But some form of kryptonite does not seem to be available to Liverpool this season. The leaders also beat their arch-rivals 2-0 on Sunday evening, and continued to extend their lead in the standings. But it was not a walk in the park.
