Bundesliga: Model Pep: Nagelsmann wants to rebuild cabin

RB Leipzig’s new coach Julian Nagelsmann not only wants to change a lot in sports, but is also planning some structural innovations. The crew cabin in the Red Bull Arena is to be rebuilt. Prototype: The dressing room of Pep Guardiola’s Team Manchester City.

Julian Nagelsmann starts working for his new club RB Leipzig in a few days. As SportBild reports, the team cabin in the home venue is to be rebuilt in the near future. According to this, the changing room will be round instead of square in the future. The model is the cabin of the top English club Manchester City, which is trained by Pep Guardiola.

“I like it when all players can see me equally well when I say something,” explained Nagelsmann, adding: “I think it’s good when I can turn around during the speeches and look every player in the eye.” Nagelsmann came up with an idea when he saw the Amazon documentary “All or Nothing”. The documentary accompanied Manchester City in the 2017/18 season.

“If I could ever have a training ground built, I would have it built just like that,” Nagelsmann is quoted as saying. The documentary also shows how Pep Guardiola speaks to his players in a cinema auditorium and re-analyses scenes.

The report shows that Nagelsmann had this idea implemented last winter. The analysis room is located directly on Cottaweg and is said to have cost 10,000 euros.

Bruma hardly played a role at RB Leipzig during the last season and therefore insists on a change. The wingman is now associated with PSV Eindhoven.

Eindhovens Dagblad reports that Bruma will complete the medical check on Wednesday. Bruma’s advisor Catio Balde announced, “He’s voting PSV.” The transfer fee is to amount to 15 million euros. Eindhoven, however, did not confirm the transfer on demand. “We won’t do this until there are signatures,” PSV spokesman Thijs Slegers said.

According to some media reports, Bruma has also been in conversation with FC Porto in recent weeks. However, the transfer had failed due to the amount of the redemption.

Alexander Nübel is said to be hunted by some of Europe’s top clubs such as Atletico Madrid, FC Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and FC Bayern. As reported by SportBild, RB Leipzig is now also said to have entered the poker for the goalkeeper talent of FC Schalke 04.

The Red Bulls are said to have a decisive advantage. Sports director Markus Krösche, who was also talking to Nübel’s Noch-Klub S04, knows the 22-year-old from his time together at SC Paderborn. Meanwhile, Schalke urges an early renewal of Nübel’s contract, whose working paper expires in 2020.
