Hummels probably rejected offer from England

Central defender Mats Hummels, who will move from FC Bayern Munich to Borussia Dortmund next season, has apparently rejected an offer by the English record champion Manchester United. That’s what the picture says.

Accordingly, the 30-year-old had waived a higher annual salary with the Red Devils in order to be able to carry out the change to his old place of work.

Last Wednesday both BVB and FC Bayern announced that Hummels, who had already worked for the Schwarz-Gelbe for eight and a half years, was returning to Dortmund.

According to media reports, the transfer fee for the 2014 World Champion amounts to up to 38 million euros including any bonuses and additional payments.

Hummels signed a three-year contract with BVB until June 2022.
