Has Frankfurt found the Jovic replacement?

Eintracht Frankfurt are said to find the successor for striker star Luka Jovic, who is migrating to Real Madrid, at his home club. According to Sport1, the SBU wants to secure the services of 19-year-old Dejan Joveljic of Red Star Belgrade.

Accordingly, Red Star is demanding a redemption of around ten million euros for the Serbian compatriot Jovic’. According to Sport1, Fadil Ramadani, Jovic consultant, Ante Rebic, Mijat Gacinovic and Filip Kostic, will act as an intermediary in the transfer.

Like Jovic, Joveljic comes from the offspring of Roter Stern and celebrated his breakthrough in the first team last season. The Serbian U21 national player scored eleven goals in 24 competitive matches.

Joveljic is a center forward, but can also come over the wings. The kicker already reported on interested parties from the Bundesliga in April, when he named TSG Hoffenheim, VfL Wolfsburg and FSV Mainz 05.

Frankfurt and Real had officially announced Jovic’s move to the royals on Tuesday. The 21-year-old had left Red Star at the beginning of 2016 for Benfica and played for Eintracht since 2017.
