Bundesliga: Collision: Mainzer forgets his goal

Austrian national team player Karim Onisiwo has temporarily forgotten his contribution to the successful catch-up race of FSV Mainz 05 3-3 (1-2) against RB Leipzig after a violent collision.

“He couldn’t remember his goal in the half-time,” reported sports director Rouven Schröder after the game.

Onisiwo had scored the 2-1 goal in the 43rd minute of the Bundesliga Friday evening match, but was then replaced during the break with suspected concussion.

In the middle of the first half, the attacker clashed in a duel with Leipzig defender Ibrahima Konate.
