BVB probably concludes 300 million deal

According to Sport Bild, runner-up Borussia Dortmund has reached an agreement with equipment supplier Puma to extend the cooperation until 2022.

The new contract is to cover a period of ten years and will bring BVB more than 300 million euros.

“We are in good and target-oriented talks with Puma, in which we have recently moved closer together. We don’t comment on numbers. Which I can say: Borussia Dortmund will conclude a contract that is significantly more valuable than before,” BVB Managing Director Carsten Cramer told the magazine.

The new treaty is to apply from 2020. The sporting goods manufacturer has been a supplier to Borussia for seven years and has paid around ten million euros a year to date. This sum is expected to triple in the future.
