BVB: Philipp probably about to switch to BL competition

Hertha BSC is apparently facing an engagement from offensive player Maximilian Philipp of runners-up Borussia Dortmund. According to Sport-Bild, manager Michael Preetz is supposed to agree with the 25-year-old on a change.

The former Freiburg native has not been able to establish himself as a regular at BVB in the last two years and is apparently available for 20 million euros.

Philipp was born in Berlin and played for Hertha in his youth. His mother lives in Spandau, not far from the Olympic Stadium. Hertha apparently also reached agreement with the former Dodi Lukebakio from Düsseldorf.

The 21-year-old wing player is said to come from the English club FC Watford, including possible bonus payments for 20 million euros, and have already completed the medical check in Berlin on Thursday.
