Top jewel Youssoufa Moukoko is also a hit in the U19. The master trainer of last year’s U19, on the other hand, will switch to a league competitor. BVB boss Watzke is extremely happy about the return of Mats Hummels. Here you can find all news and rumours about the BVB.

BVB top talent Youssoufa Moukoko is also accustomed to accuracy in the first test match at the U19. The 14-year-old scored a goal in his 4-0 victory over the Westphalian league team TSG Sprockhövel. After scoring 50 times in the U17 last season, the goal scorer was promoted to the U19 for this season.

Also on the scoring list were Immanuel Pherai and Giovanni Reyna, son of the former Leverkusen and Wolfsburg player Claudio Reyna. Pherai and Reyna will soon be travelling to the USA with Borussia’s professional squad and can look forward to playing in the friendly matches against Seattle Sounders and FC Liverpool.

BVB boss Hans-Joachim Watzke is especially pleased about the return of Mats Hummels. The picture explained Watzke: “For me it was a gaping wound for three years when he wasn’t there.” This wound is now closed. On Friday, Hummels played a friendly match against FC Schweinberg in the Borussia jersey for the first time in three years.

In the coming season, Hummels will most likely be a regular in the Dortmund defence, and the young Akanji, Zagadou and Diallo will also benefit from the experience of the 2014 World Champion.

BVB A Junior Coach Benjamin Hoffmann changes to the 1st FSV Mainz 05. Last season Hoffmann became German Champion with the Borussia Juniors. He will also be responsible for the U19 team in Mainz.

He will be the successor of Bo Svensson, the coach of FC Liefering, the farm team of RB Salzburg. Meanwhile Michael Skibbe will be the new trainer of the Dortmunder U19.
