Bobic: Storm trio? There’s a chance we’ll all lose.

As a precaution, sports director Fredi Bobic has prepared Eintracht Frankfurt’s fans for the departure of the entire “buffalo herd”. Is the club losing Ante Rebic, Luka Jovic and Sebastien Haller?

For financial reasons, the Hessen would not have to sell Jovic, Rebic or Haller. “But for reasons of reason, anything can happen. Of course, we may lose all three of them,” Bobic told the Bild newspaper.

The three strikers had scored a total of 41 goals in the Bundesliga last season – more than two-thirds of all Eintracht goals. They also played a major role in the semi-finals of the Europa League. The 21-year-old Serb Jovic, in particular, had recently been repeatedly associated with a move to Real Madrid.

“I can guarantee for all three of them that they’ll have a great time here. The love of the fans is an important factor”, Bobic continued: “But at some point other forces come into play”. This had nothing to do with the fact that a player would decide against Eintracht.
