Boateng plays in “Men in Black

Jerome Boateng of FC Bayern Munich will make a guest appearance in the fourth part of the “Men in Black” film series. That’s what Sony Pictures announced. Boateng will play an alien in Men in Black: International.

“I’ve been a big fan of the MIB universe since the first movie. The request from Sony Pictures to be part of the new film Men in Black:International with a cameo appearance surprised me positively and was extremely pleased”, Boateng is quoted in the press release. “It will definitely be a unique and very special experience to see myself on the big screen soon.”

On Instagram, Boateng posted a short clip from the film, which will be shown in German cinemas on 13 June. “This time it’s not an April fool’s joke, I promise,” he wrote. Men in Black: International is the first part of the series without Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones.

Boateng had recently received criticism from Bavaria’s CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge for his activities outside the square. He himself had reacted to it with incomprehension in the kicker. The tablecloth between him and the Bavarians seems to have been cut one way or another: President Uli Hoeneß had recommended a change to him on the sidelines of last weekend’s double celebration.
