Bayern Munich coach Niko Kovac apparently wants another six. Transfer target Leroy Sane is said to have been set a deadline in the meantime. The players were surprised by the rumours of Uli Hoeneß withdrawing. Here you can find all news and rumours about FC Bayern.
Bayern Munich coach Niko Kovac apparently wants another six for his team in the open transfer window. This is what SportBild reports. The FC Bayern is trying to transfer Marc Roca (RCD Espanyol), sports director Hasan Salihamidzic is supposed to be in negotiations.
According to the report, Kovac sees neither Thiago nor Renato Sanches, Corentino Tolisso or Leon Goretzka in the league to ideally occupy the central position before the defence. Only Javi Martinez is believed to be able to do this, but the Spaniard could also be in demand for central defence.
FC Bayern Munich apparently wants to set Leroy Sane of Manchester City a deadline of about two weeks. In this time the player should decide for or against a change to the German record champion. This is reported by SportBild, which also reports that the club has recently received positive signals from the national player’s management.
According to the report, President Uli Hoeneß and CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge will continue their efforts to transfer Sane immediately after their return from the US. In England, the transfer window is only open until 8 August, which is why Manchester City should also strive for quick clarity.
Meanwhile, the role of city coach Pep Guardiola is likely to cause confusion. His club is said to have assured FC Bayern that the coach would not be an obstacle to the transfer of Sane. Recently, however, the Catalan seemed to be clearly against selling the wingman.
FC Bayern Munich won their last test match on the US Tour 1-0 against AC Milan. The decisive goal was scored by Leon Goretzka shortly before the side change. Serge Gnabry, Javi Martinez and Robert Lewandowski paused with muscular problems.
FC Bayern Munich and President Uli Hoeneß could go their separate ways in November 2019. This was reported by the picture on Tuesday evening. The long-serving functionary is not to stand for re-election as president at the annual general meeting at the end of the year and is probably also planning to resign as chairman of the supervisory board.
The record champion did not want to comment on the rumours so far and also refused an official presentation in Kansas City. But David Alaba said to SportBild reporter Tobias Altschäffl before leaving the USA: “At first it was a shock, I wasn’t prepared for something like that”.
Thomas Müller was also visibly taken by surprise: “So far this has only been done through the media, I don’t have any first-hand information yet. You probably know more about that than I do.” Joshua Kimmich said he hadn’t heard the “bomb hit yet”: “If it’s true, it comes as a surprise to me, I know FC Bayern almost only with Uli Hoeneß”.
