Bundesliga: TV ratings: 4 Buli games with "0" viewers

The German pay-TV channel Sky has published the odds for the past season, quoting four Bundesliga matches with “0” viewers, as too few people had switched on in the technically measurable range (below 5000).

These games included Mainz against Wolfsburg on Matchday 5 and Hertha BSC against Leverkusen, Wolfsburg against Augsburg and Mainz against Hoffenheim (all 34 games). In addition, 15 matches had only 10,000 spectators, with Freiburg in seven and Wolfsburg in six.

The best odds, on the other hand, were achieved in the encounters between FC Bayern and Borussia Dortmund. The duels reached 2.05 million spectators on the 11th matchday and 2.2 million on the 28th matchday. 17 other games were seen by more than a million viewers.

Sky broadcast a total of 266 Bundesliga matches live in the past season. The Bundesliga match day had an average of 5.16 million viewers, compared to 5.12 million last year.
