According to media reports, the transfer fee will be approximately 100 million euros plus bonus payments totalling 40 million euros. This would make Hazard the most expensive purchase in the history of the Royal Society.

Allegedly, the Royal Hazard also pay a princely salary, he is supposed to receive about 15 million euros per year. This puts him in second place in the Madrilenian salary table behind Gareth Bale, who could possibly leave the club in the summer.
