Looking back at the last Champions League finals, a Spanish club comes to the fore: Real Madrid made it into the Champions League final three times in a row and won three European titles as the best club in Europe.
The royals were able to claim particularly impressive and sovereign final victories in 2017 and 2018. In 2017, Zinedine Zidane’s team won 4-1 against Italian serial champion Juventus Turin. One year later, they scored one goal less, but still won 3-1 against FC Liverpool.
