Bundesliga: Wolfsburg strives for quick decision at Brekalo

VfL Wolfsburg is striving for a quick decision on the future of the courted wing striker Josip Brekalo. “If there isn’t one, he is urged to call up his best possible performance, and he will do so,” Managing Director Jörg Schmadtke told the kicker.

Benfica Lisbon and AC Milan are considered possible options for the 21-year-old Croatian.

As the paper reports, the VfL envisages a transfer of up to 20 million euros in the event of a transfer. Brekalo is said to have signaled that he’s looking for a change. “Josip is part of this team until something else happens,” said Schmadtke. “Things are on the table: what he wants, what we want.”
