Ribery with announcement: “Bavaria has to invest, retrofit”

For Franck Ribery, record champion Bayern Munich still has a lot of work to do on the transfer market this summer. “Bavaria needs quality, they have to invest, retrofit! I’m very excited myself to see what they do,” the long-time Munich professional told Sport Bild.

Especially on his position on the wing, the 36-year-old Frenchman sees a lot of catching up to do.

“Only with Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman is it perhaps too little to go into the new season,” said Ribery, who would absolutely welcome a commitment from Leroy Sane: “Sane would be a player who would advance Bavaria.
