Benfica Lisbon is allegedly interested in Peter Gulacsi. A successor is already planned for grass ball sports. In addition: former jersey champion RB Leipzig crashed in the new evaluation.
Here you can find all news and rumours about RB Leipzig.
According to the Portuguese daily Record, Benfica Lisbon has kept an eye on Leipzig keeper Peter Gulacsi. Accordingly, the Portuguese want to start negotiations with the Leipzigers shortly.
According to the report, the 29-year-old is Benfica’s absolute candidate of choice. Sergio Rico of FC Sevilla or Robin Olsen of AS Rome were offered to the club, but they were only an issue if the Gulacsi commitment failed.
A possible departure of Gulacsis could further increase RB interest in Schalke goalkeeper Alexander Nübel. Sport Bild reported that the people of Leipzig would be prepared to pay up to 15 million euros for Nübel.
RB Leipzig can be found at the relegation place. At least one jury of the Mediadesign University in Düsseldorf came to this conclusion. Lecturers and students in the second and fourth semesters of fashion design as well as renowned jersey collectors voted the new white home jersey of the bulls 16th.
“The white jersey is completely printed with a light grey pattern that lacks television suitability. Red-yellow logos, a blue V-neck and red sleeve cuffs stand in contrast. The back flocking is typographically incongruous. Leipzig is very far away from its best performances. Unfortunately, the functional material could not improve the evaluation,” the jury explained.
This year, the evaluation took place purely digitally by means of a utility value analysis. The jerseys could be evaluated on the basis of the categories overall impression of the outfit (25%), innovation/design (35%), labeling/colour harmony (15%), functionality/material/details (15%) and workmanship (10%).
For the 2017/2018 season Leipzig even took first place, last year RasenBallsport still held eighth place.
Before the Bundesliga season starts for the Leipzigers on 18 August in the East Derby near Union Berlin, two more matches are scheduled.
