Ex-coach praises BVB phenomenon Haaland – and warns

With nine goals in six compulsory matches Erling Haaland celebrated a dream debut with Borussia Dortmund. His former coach Jesse Marsch praises the BVB newcomer in the highest tones, but also warns the 19-year-old Norwegian against the temptations of the professional business.

Haaland is “a super player – with great talent and potential. He can score goals with any kind of football,” said the coach of Haaland’s former employer Red Bull Salzburg at “Sky”. “He is incredibly strong, has technical qualities and is incredibly fast. If an action is unsuccessful, he immediately drops out and is immediately ready for the next action.
