Eintracht: Wild rumour about Ribery request

Franck Ribery is to receive an inquiry from Eintracht Frankfurt. A signature of the Frenchman seems unlikely at the present time, however, responsible persons of the association even denied the rumors.

As the picture reports, Frankfurt asked Riberys consultant Alain Migliaccio whether the 36-year-old would be prepared to sign a strongly performance-related contract by 2020. The club can’t afford the winger despite his old age and lack of replacement.

“I have many offers and I’m still hot on football. I’ll keep playing, I’ll make up my mind soon,” Ribery said to the picture. However, those responsible for Eintracht who were not named in the daily newspaper denied contact with the French.

The French sports newspaper L’Equipe had recently reported that Ribery had rejected an offer from AS Monaco. He does not want to play against former club Olympique Marseille in Ligue 1. The same apparently applies to FC Bayern in the Bundesliga.

A move abroad would therefore be more appropriate: clubs from Qatar and Saudi Arabia should be just as interested as FC Arsenal and AC Florence. But Ribery should also look for a solution that suits his family.
