Jeremy Toljan could obviously leave Borussia Dortmund for Serie A. This was reported by the Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio. In addition to Toljan, Shinji Kagawa and Andre Schürrle are also to leave the club. According to reports, they could both go to the same club.
Here you can find all news and rumours about the BVB.
Borussia Dortmund may have found a customer for Jeremy Toljan at the company “Kaderverkleinerung”. According to the Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Toljan and Sassuolo have made contact in recent days. The talks are said to have been positive.
Toljan is considered to be one of the first strike candidates in the BVB squad, which currently consists of 35 players. The BVB managers are said to have already made it clear without planning the 24-year-old. Toljan had moved from Hoffenheim to Dortmund for around seven million euros after strong performances at the U21 European Championship in 2017, when he won the European Championship title with the DFB selection, but was rarely able to convince there.
Last season he was on loan to FC Celtic, but the Scots were not committed. Toljan’s contract with BVB runs until 2022.
Besiktas Istanbul apparently wants to firmly commit the last loaned Shinji Kagawa from Borussia Dortmund. “We would like to see Kagawa with us next season,” said Besiktas boss Fikret Orman according to Fotomac.
Kagawa already spent the second half of last season in Istanbul. In 14 games he scored four goals and two assists. Under coach Lucien Favre, Kagawa has no future at BVB.
According to Fotomac, Kagawa is not the only Dortmunder to switch to Besiktas. It is said that the club is also interested in Andre Schürrle, who most recently played for FC Fulham on loan.
